Our best classroom has no roof. Susi Environmental School sits a short walk from Pangandaran beach, facing a protected island where wild primates still live — so the sky is our ceiling, the sand is our floor, and the tide sets the timetable. Children here grow food, care for animals and learn to look after the place they come from.

What makes us different
We have a mini zoo, and the children run it.
Our founder's animals live on campus, so meeting and caring for them is part of an ordinary morning — and so is the fish pond, where children get to know the water's own creatures.
Across the water sits Pangandaran's nature reserve, still forested and full of wild primates. We watch it, we learn its rules, and we clean the beach that faces it.

What ages does SES accept?
Children from 1 to 6 years old, across Pre-School (Baby Class, Toddler, Nursery) and Kindergarten (K-1, K-2).
How do I book a tour?
Tours run Tuesday and Friday mornings, by appointment. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll set a time.
How do I apply for enrolment?
Message us on WhatsApp with your child's name, age and preferred level, and our team will guide you from there.
How many children are in each class?
Classes stay small on purpose: 8 students in Baby Class and Toddler, 10 in Nursery, and 12 in each Kindergarten level.
Is SES bilingual?
Yes. Teaching runs in English and Bahasa Indonesia, and a full Indonesian version of this site is on its way.
